I know, right? It’s perfection. She wanted a bright, welcoming space, one that felt like “home.” She uses four main colors, pink, soft turquoise blue and white. She also loves vintage, as you can see from this metal desk that she had repainted in this fantastic shade of pink. I love how home offices are shying away from the dark-stained man-caves with the over-sized desk to softer, lighter, pleasing-to-the-eye spaces.
I like the idea of having an office outside in a barn, like this:
You can open the doors on nice days and enjoy nature but I am not sure how much work I’d get done!
This is my favorite space for an office on the main level of your home – it’s pretty, functional, and the room can be used for other things as well. I like that it has just a touch of a garden theme, with the dried hydrangeas, plants and brick floor.
I would love to turn my tv room into this space – it has all my favorite qualities: a large window with a view, white and black rug, touch of pink with the lampshade and gold accents.
This space is bright, colorful and happy – one can only think good and creative thoughts here!
And this last space is glamorous and young and fresh and reminds me of an office my daughter might have in the future. Especially that carpet!
I found so many clever and amazing office spaces on Pinterest.
I can't decide which office I like best! I will take them all. One to suit each of my moods. They're all so beautiful and inspiring. I think I could really write the next great American novel — if only I had one of those offices. I am in love with the cheetah carpet. Love your blog!
