I absolutely love hunting for great vintage items and have a particular affinity for architectural pieces, mirrors, ironstone and pink and white china. I like mixing the old with the new, and don’t succumb to the notion of having to spend a fortune on your home for it to look great. I will be selling my vintage finds in my Etsy store, Canterbury Home. Just click on “shop” above! Looking for something special? Drop me a note and I will see what I can do!
I am a bit of a “foodie” – as long as it’s healthy – and will be sharing recipes that are tried and true, created in my suburban cottage “test” kitchen and tested on brave family members and friends (luckily they both still love me!). I try to keep that momentum going about 95% of the time, but occasionally I will come across a decadent recipe that has to be tried (one can only go without chocolate for so long!). I hope to share some of these family favorites and would love it if you shared yours too.
I have a very relaxed, vintage and informal style when it comes to decorating, but can throw a beautiful party in my home with just the addition of fresh flowers and pretty linens. Need help? Drop me a note! It’s easier than you think!
On these pages I hope to share great home decor, DIY projects, food, fitness, and ways to make your home comfy and reflect who you are! There is no “right” or “wrong” style. Just your style.
