Etsy is my source for gifts, beautiful home goods, collectibles, antiques and, anything you can find at a brick and mortar, you will find it better and prettier on Etsy. I have a few favorite sellers I want to share with you and encourage you to “Shop Small” this Holiday season. Sure, Amazon is great, but it won’t send your purchase wrapped with love in a velvet ribbon and smelling like a rose garden! The personal touches and unparalleled quality of Etsy sellers are why I keep going back.
FYI – I am not receiving discounts or any type of incentives from this post. I firmly believe that we should support and embrace each other.
Here are a few of my favorites:
EabDesigns – I have been purchasing my custom Christmas stockings from this seller for years. They are incredibly well made, and I just purchased one for Maximo. EabDesigns also sells beautiful velvet ribbons, pillows and other handmade goods. Julie is currently on vacation and will re-open her shop on November 22.
Another one of my favorites – The Ramshackle Rose by Stacy Stewart. Stacy’s shop is a gorgeous assortment of custom-made beautiful girly goodies. She has beautiful aprons and table runners, paris-themed decor and everything is of the highest quality. I purchased a gorgeous apron from Stacy and here I am modeling it! And yes I always cook dressed up! Ok not really but just look at that apron! Stacy also has a killer Instagram – follow her feed here. Her home is amazing and her photos are beautiful and inspirational.
Eye Candy Creations – Jennifer Harris Hayslip describes her Etsy shop this way: “Jewelry Designer, Handmade Fancy Assemblage Mixed Media Art, Fine Art Photography Print of Romantic Floral, Dreamy Pastel Carnival, Glamour boudoir, and Nursery theme.” I can honestly say her handmade items are just gorgeous. I ordered two bracelets for a very dear friend and they were absolutely stunning. Here is just a sampling of one of her gorgeous creations.
Another wonderful seller is Your Hearts Content. Michelle makes the BEST velvet pumpkins in a huge assortment of colors. I have purchased many from her for my photo shoots and they are very high quality. She also make velvet Christmas trees and has other velvet accessories available for sale. Here’s Maximo posing with a few of her gorgeous pumpkins. She delivers excellent customer service as well.
I discovered this next seller a few months ago and all I can say is Oh Happy Day! She makes the most gorgeous, high quality dog clothing I have ever seen (and I’ve seen a lot!) Stop by the Etsy shop of Puppy Dog Clothes. Her dog creations are so well made they will surely last the lifetime of your pup. Here again is Max modeling an outfit I purchased from her shop.
Another one of my favorites is Bertha Louise Designs. Angela’s custom jewelry pieces are truly fantastic. I have purchased a few pairs of earrings from her and they were even more gorgeous in person. Great packaging, customer service and she is a real sweetheart! I noticed she is not selling at the moment but take a look at her past sales and maybe drop her a note on Facebook.
Bougainvillea Lane is a shop I recently found when I was looking for pink and white floral soup bowls for photography. Her packing is beyond exceptional – I ordered 8 bowls and coordinating under plates and they were delivered in perfect condition. She is a sweetie and has some wonderful items in her store!
So next time you feel the urge to purchase something special – just get out your electronic device of choice and navigate over to Etsy and please SHOP SMALL!
